We took a weekend trip to Dallas and one of the things Kendyl wanted to do was go to Ripley's Believe It Or Not. We had fun touring all the crazy and wild exhibits, making a wax hand and getting fun souvenirs to take to her teachers and home with us.
Freaky! And fake!
Kendyl is obsessed with sharks
Tallest man in the world!
Kendyl loves Katy Perry
Made out of stamps. Amazing!
Had her fortune told by Zoltar.
He brought her good fortune all weekend (you'll see later).
Dress made out of toilet paper!
Hello my sweet! Matchbook art.
This was super fun!
Oh, the candy!
We got chocolate covered birthday cake, chocolate covered rice krispies, chocolate covered almonds and chocolate covered cookie dough! YUM!!
After Ripley's, we went to Dave & Busters to grab some lunch. It was Kendyl's first time there and she's been wanting to go forever.
Here's evidence of Zoltar's good fortune for Kendyl. After she was finished playing games, we went to the Winner's Circle to pick out prizes and she wanted the lava lamp. She's been wanting one for a long time and we've looked everywhere for a purple one and we haven't been able to find one. Unfortunately, she was short over 700 tickets. She talked me into getting $10 more on the game card. In order for her to get more than 700 tickets she would need to get about 250 tickets in 3 tries, which I thought would never happen. Low and behold, the first game she played she hit the 500 ticket bonus and got 1000 tickets!!!
And got her lava lamp. Then she goes and picks BLUE!! Not purple! As you do!
Have a great day!!
